Where to start in Computer Science ?

Since a long time I wonder how to do research again and this, in another field than my PhD. I’m a passionate of Computer Science, a very large and important domain composed of a lot of disciplines.

But my concern is: How to enter in this field ? What is the best papers ? The best books ? Who are the leaders ?

I focused on artificial intelligence and its components, on quantum computing as well as computational neuroscience.

I created a github page grouping together what I think are essential references for students, data scientists, engineers, researchers etc…
